new prompt table challenge - theme suggestion post

So, the Language of Flowers prompt table challenge is officially over (though it's still fine if you want to sneak in a last few fics) and that means it's time for a new challenge!

And a new challenge means a new set of prompts, so this is the theme suggestion post. Feel free to suggest anything you think would make a good overall theme for a table of prompts, and be as creative as you like. If you want some examples, you can check out last year's suggestion post here.

This post will be open for one week, and then we'll have a poll to decide what the next prompt table will be!

lavendre suggested 'a mixed bag of poetry' last year, and I feel that might still be a good suggestion.

Yes, I like that one! Plus I think it would be cool to let everyone suggest their favorite poetry quotes and combine those into a table.

another suggestion from last year that i think is worth repeating, from hamimi queer lady artist lyrics (i'm particularly partial to janelle monae) ^.^

That was a good one! And ooh, Janelle Monae, I would kind of love to do a table that was just all the songs from Dirty Computer as prompts.

I like the poetry idea too, but the Dorothy Parker quotes idea from the last couple of years is amazing!

I’m happy with poetry and/or lyrics, too! Another idea could be lines from the letters between Vita and Virginia? There’s a twitter bot - vitavirginiabot - that posts excerpts if you want to get a feel for how they’d work as prompts.

Also, sorry for the three edits! Everything’s been playing up.
