Tara stole a glance at Willow again. There is was, that feeling of the forbidden, as tempting to her as was the offer of a bite of the apple of the tree of knowledge was to Eve.
She knew she mustn't. That these lustful feelings were just another way that the demon inside her was exhibiting itself. She contented herself to just be near Willow, to sit by her side during the Wicca meetings, to smile shyly at her when they made eye contact.
It wouldn't do any good to act on it. There was no way that Willow would ever want to be anything more than friends, was there?
