[310/293] - Fire Emblem: Heroes (Sharena/Female Summoner)
Title: I Dream About Kissing You
Fandom: Fire Emblem: Heroes
Pairing: Sharena/Female Summoner
Rating: Gen
Prompt: #293: Confession
Word Count: 352
Summary: Steeling herself, Sharena prepares to knock on the wooden door in front of her.
Steeling herself, Sharena prepares to knock on the wooden door in front of her, wondering if this was the right thing to do. Her brother had always said that they shouldn’t become friendly with any of the Heroes or the Summoner, who summoned them; she thought that was silly personally. She enjoyed being friends with the Summoner and the Heroes she summoned to help them.
And not everyone was Alfonse’s friend, who had disappeared on him without a word. She was fairly certain of that anyways.
Heartbeat thundering her ears, she raises her hand to knock on the door, when the sound of approaching feet reaches her ears. She turns to find Kiran holding a single burning candle and the shadow of one of the Heroes over the Summoner’s shoulder now moving in the opposite direction.
“Princess?” Kiran inched closer to her, grey eyes glancing from her to the door behind Sharena and back to her again as Kiran’s brow furrows. “Is everything alright, Sharena?”
Sharena nodded and moved towards her, taking Kiran’s warm hand into hers and squeezing gently, looking down at them. “Yes, actually. But there’s something I want to confess for days - no months to you and I’ve just found my courage.”
“Am I really that scary, Princess?” A soft chuckle reached her ears and she looked up to see amusement dancing those gentle grey eyes. “To be honest, there's something I want to tell you too, but I think you should go first.”
“Alright.” Sharena squeezes her hand, before gently cupping Kiran’s cheeks, and leaned forward to kiss her. Kiran’s lips were soft and warm to her senses as they kissed in the dim light as Kiran managed to angle the candle away from themselves as their other hand clutched at Sharena’s shoulder.
After a moment at the sound of someone coughing in the dark nearby, Kiran pulls away to smile brightly at her. “Well that’s certainly one heck of a confession to make my dreams lighter. I love you, Sharena.”
“Mine as well.” Sharena giggles softly, leaning forward to kiss Kiran’s cheek. “I love you too, Kiran.”
