Summary - Buffy dreams about the Vampire Willow.
A/N: Set during early season four
That night, Buffy dreams of her, the other Willow, the sexy Willow. Not that her friend isn't cute, she is, but in the big fuzzy sweater kind of way, the way she thinks of friends as cute. The other Willow was hot. Buffy knows she has a type and that type is apparently “vampire” without regard to gender. She dreams about the other Willow in leather or a form-fitting dress. She wouldn't put it past the other Willow to have a tattoo, maybe a snake or a dragon up high on her hip. Buffy's fingers twitch against her blankets, as if itching to discover that which is out of reach. She imagines the other Willow, so soft, yet so full of dangerous promise.
A nearby sound rouses Buffy from sleep, she opens her eyes and sees Willow, her friend and roommate, facing her with a soft smile on her face as she dresses. “Good morning,” Willow says, reaching up to comb her fingers through her mussed hair. The t-shirt she is wearing rides up just enough to expose an unmarked hip. They've been roommates long enough for Buffy to have seen Willow in various stages of undress, but she's captivated.
“You okay?” Willow asks, pulling a pair of sweat pants out of a drawer and slipping into them.
Buffy blinks, bringing her thoughts to the present moment. “Me? Yeah, sure. Right as rain.”
“Maybe you should sleep in for a little while longer.”
Buffy nods and curls back around her pillow, “Sounds like a plan.”
“Pleasant dreams,” whispers Willow, before leaving the room.
Buffy closes her eyes but the dream of the other Willow is long gone.
