Mila did a quick loop through the bodega, grabbing a Coke and two copies of the glossy magazine with Tina on the cover. She said nothing, the clerk said nothing, and with an exchange of bills and change, Mila was on her way again. Her apartment wasn't far away and it didn't take her long to open the Coke and sit down to flip through twenty gorgeous photos of Tina in a mix of what looked like her own clothing and some sort of high fashion.
There was an article, too, but that could wait...
Except that she saw her own name, and there, on the opposite page, was Tina in one of her shirts for a local band.
Coke still in her hand, Mila went to rummage through her clothes and sure enough, things had been pilfered.
But there were also a few shirts she knew were Tina's, and definitely a few pieces of underwear and--
Right, that was just how things were going to be. It was a bit of an adventure, and it was okay. Tina kept her on her toes...
On her toes and dreaming big, training hard--
And needing to buy a couple new shirts.
