[260/253] Her Master's Voice (Original)
Title: Her Master's Voice
Fandom: Original
Pairing: Juliette Park/Anna Pratt
Rating: PG
Prompt: 260/253 Care
Word Count: 270
Notes: Contains animal harm, werewolves, submission.
"It gets easier." Juliette looked sorry. Anna wanted to believe she was. "It's just something we have to do. It's in our nature."
Anna shook her head. She could feel heat at the corners of her eyes, and she hated it. She hated crying. "I can't."
"It's this or people," Juliette said gently. "Look, I can kill it for you, but it won't be the same. You'll control the transformations better if you give in a little. You can make it fast."
Anna wiped her eyes, then her nose, but it didn't help. Stupid tears were spilling over as she clutched the trembling cat to her chest. "I'd almost rather it be people. Some bloody wanker. A rapist or an investment agent, maybe."
Juliette rested her head on her shoulder and squeezed her in a hug. "Of course you'd be the only werewolf in the world who's a cat person." Her voice was amused, fond. "What can I do to make this easier for you?"
"Tell me to do it," Anna whispered. The cat looked up at her with its pupils cautiously rounding as Anna petted its head.
She remembered the beast bearing upon her in the night, its teeth--Juliette's teeth--catching on her skin. That sweet and terrible slide into obedience that recognizing her as Her Person had given her. If Juliette told her to do it, she'd have to. She could. She'd get over the hump.
It hurt her heart, but as she felt Juliette's breath on her ear, and the words whispered in it, she let out a shuddering breath and did what she had to.
