Notes: Continuing my high school spoof fic series, apparently.
Jimin is the class president. He cannot let himself be intimidated by a student, even if she's both older and taller than he is and, to be frank, scary as hell. He can't believe he'd thought she was pretty once. Well, that is... from an objective point of view, yes. It was just difficult to process that insight into a positive emotion when she was staring you down across the floor like you were a bug about to be crushed.
But she's standing next to the new girl he does like.
Kim Namsoon is really cute. Maybe not as perfectly pretty as Min, but super, super cute, and Jimin has been building up courage to talk to her for days. She's also taller than him, which has given him pause, but... so cute!
Jimin screws up his courage and sails on over, completely ignoring that cold bitch-queen from hell. "Hello, Kim-ssi? I was wondering if you need any help with your orientation. I'm a class president, so I know just about everything there is to know about this school."
"Yeah?" she blinks at him from under her bangs and clutches her bag a little closer. "Um... I think I'm all right. Thanks. Noona has been helping me a lot."
Jimin steadfastly refuses to look at Min. "Are you sure? I could help you with the schedule over lunch."
"Hey," says Min in her husky voice, but Jimin keeps staring at Namsoon.
"Um..."
"Hey," says Min, louder this time, impossible to ignore.
"What?! ...Min Yoonji-ssi." Those cold eyes have him at last.
"Are you hitting on my girlfriend?"
Jimin spends the rest of the day hiding in various cleaning closets between classes.
