"Come on in!" Sheryl called as she smiled at Ranka. "The water isn't that deep here and they need B-roll anyway. We just need to splash around."
Ranka nodded and slipped off her sandals. The lagoon had been vetted twice over as safe for the video shoot, but she was a little hesitant anyway. The vajra certainly weren't a problem; the ones that had remained on the planet were more hazard for their friendliness than anything. But there were other creatures, here and there, and they had been warned that the water got deep quickly after a certain point.
"Oh!" Ranka wasn't expecting the water to be quite as cold as it was. Sheryl wasn't shivering at all, though. Maybe she'd just gotten used to it?
Sheryl laughed and beckoned to Ranka before smiling in the direction of the camera. That's right-- time to be professional.
"Here goes!" Ranka took a deep breath and then heaved herself into the water, going completely under and touching the shallow bottom before popping up. Not that much better, but a bit! She brushed her hair out of her face and then looked over at Sheryl, who seemed stunned.
She wasn't looking at the camera when she pinched her nose and ducked under for a brief moment. When she came up, she splashed Ranka...
And it was on! Ranka completely forgot about the camera as she lunged after Sheryl, splashing and trying to doggy-paddle around. Sheryl was the one who kissed her, though, after a few seconds of staring at each other through wet hair. Ranka returned the kiss quickly as she slipped a possessive arm around Sheryl. The camera was forgotten about temporarily--
Sheryl insisted on leaving the footage in; she trusted the director...
